The word ‘Bagua’ literally means ‘eight trigrams’, a system which, including the centre, delineates nine fundamental sectors of existence.

It is an energy grid which, although originally octagonal in shape, is now adapted into a square structure to integrate perfectly with the design and architecture of our modern spaces.

By superimposing this map onto the floor plan of your flat or a single room, your home becomes a mirror: the Bagua reveals how every corner influences the dynamics of your daily life, highlighting the invisible connection between the layout of your rooms and the different areas of your life.

Applying the Bagua Map does not mean following rigid, impersonal rules. In my work, I use this tool as a magnifying glass for Environmental Tailoring:
