The Art of Feng Shui

I analyse the floor plan, the orientation to the sun, the lighting and the energy flows in your home to identify its strengths and areas of blockage.
Feng Shui is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I align your personal energy with that of the rooms, to ensure that your home supports your goals and your personal renewal.
I translate this analysis into practical interior design choices: the arrangement of the furniture, the choice of natural materials and the perfect colour palette for your wellbeing.
The Tools of the Method
Feng Shui is a precise art form based on knowledge dating back thousands of years. To analyse the energy of your spaces, I use tools that ensure rigour and awareness in the design process.
The Luo Pan is the Feng Shui consultant’s essential tool. It is a special compass that allows me to measure the energy orientation of your home with millimetre precision, identifying favourable directions and the influences of the surrounding environment.
The Bagua Map is the grid that I superimpose onto the floor plan of your home. It is the tool that allows us to ‘read’ the space: each sector of the map corresponds to a specific area of your life, such as your career, health, relationships or prosperity.
Using the Four Celestial Animals model, I analyse how the external environment and the internal layout support your home. This helps to ensure that the space offers protection, stability and an open outlook, so that you feel secure and ready to embrace new opportunities.
The Energy of Your Spaces
Every room has its own ‘vibe’, a unique energetic rhythm that constantly interacts with your own.
Have you ever experienced that feeling of instantly feeling at ease when you walk into a room, or, conversely, of feeling inexplicably tired or restless?
This happens because spaces are never neutral. The arrangement of the furniture, the choice of colours, the quality of the light and the presence of accumulated objects create an energy field that influences your day-to-day wellbeing, the quality of your sleep and your ability to concentrate.
My work involves tuning into this energy: together, we will identify the energy ‘switches’ in your home.
Through small, targeted interior design interventions, we will work to restore the tranquillity and flow that will allow your spaces to once again become a place of nourishment, protection and regeneration for your mind and spirit.
For a Home that Supports You
Well-being starts with the little things
Here are some practical tips you can put into practice straight away to improve the energy flow in your rooms.
The entrance is the point where energy (Qi) enters your home.
To welcome it in the best possible way, always keep this space free of obstacles (no shoes left lying about or piles of jackets).
Make sure it is well lit and, if space allows, add a plant with round leaves to create a sense of vitality and warmth.
The arrangement of the furniture should encourage conversation and movement.
Avoid placing sofas or armchairs with their backs to the front door.
Create a cosy, welcoming space, perhaps using rugs to define an area for relaxation or conversation, preventing energy from dissipating too quickly towards the windows.
In the kitchen, the Fire elements (hobs, oven) and Water elements (sink, fridge) are in constant conflict.
If possible, avoid placing them opposite each other or right next to one another.
If the current layout does not allow this, you can balance this interaction by placing a Wood element (such as a herb plant or a natural wooden chopping board) between the two to harmonise the energy.
These are small touches that can make a difference, but every home has a unique story and layout. If you feel your space needs a more profound transformation, I am here to guide you.
